Basic Qualifications

  • Age – 18 Years or above
  • High School Graduate or have a GED
  • One Year of high school algebra or its equivalent with a passing score.
    • GED algebra is not accepted
  • Driver License (No restriction B)
  • Texas Electrical Apprentice License
  • Score a 5 or higher on the NJATC Aptitude Test.
  • Physically capable of doing electrical construction work.
  • Satisfy the eligibility requirements for employment established by the Federal Government

Geographical Area

The jurisdiction of the Local Union is the area in which an apprentice might be assigned to work. The jurisdiction covers the following 22 counties in North Texas: Collin, Comanche, Cooke, Dallas, Delta, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Fannin, Grayson, Hood, Hunt, Jack, Johnson, Kaufman, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise.
